Mid-range Gaming Smartphone Beast!
Well indeed and legit this Nubia Play 5G is good as a mid-range phone. The spec is almost like a flagship phone, 144hz refresrate, Snapdragon 765G 5G that has been improved and optimised and also the phone support 5G if your area available for 5G. The back of the phone is made from glass and it's mate finish, your fingerprint is not sticky to your back panel. The front screen has a protection by gorilla glass but only attached with Corning Gorilla Glass 3. So I'm gonna end my review here and hopefully you have a nice day!
Yes, it's legit 144hz refreshrate. I'm using this Phoneas an affordable budget gaming phone to play games such as PUBG Mobile, Mobile Legends, Call Of Duty Mobile, Genshin Impact and more.
The current Snapdragon 765G 5G also has been optimised just like a Snapdragon 845.
In Genshin Impact it's support Full Graphic without any problem while in Pubg Mobile only support Smooth + Extreme Framerate 60fps and HDR + Ultra Framerate 40fps. But on my variant 8GB RAM 128GB ROM, the game space has been improve and make the snapdragon 765G optimised to the max performance. Now in PUBG Mobile support Smooth + 90fps and Ultra HD + Ultra Framerate 40fps.
recommended for those who wanted a gaming smartphone but on low budget.
The disadvantage that I can see here on my device Nubia Play 5G is there is no 3.5mm Jack. But in their box they included with the dongle.
The Simcard tray isn't available to expand the storage.
The frame of the phone is made from Aluminium for a premium protection but your phone will be more heat and hot when you play Genshin Impact and Pubg Mobile on high graphic. I've recorded the temperature at almost 48°C when in game without any aircond or fans turned on. The frame will be more hot and your hand might uncomfortable to plat games so please use Fun cooler from Black shark or memo fans to cool down the temperature or just leave it in front of the fan to cool down the phone.
There is nothing much on the cons. So that's all I got from my experience on using the phone. The special is the phone still have a RedMagic Gamespace same as the redmagic 5G gamespace. Your phone might get hot on 48°C but it will never turn you down and the performance is excellent!
