Love and Hate Relationship with Xiaomi Mi A3
I would recommend ppl to get this phone but only stay at android 9. Yes at android 10 they give u dark mode/theme. But trust me, the phone is better with android 9. Smoother. Some ppl suggest to use custom os, but idk how to do. A lot of tutorial is in indian language, so hahaha
Overall it's a really nice experience. I bought this phone at rm1000. Tbh it was the best 1k I've ever spent. The 720p display is never a problem n the pixels are not very obvious. Although the finger print a bit slow. Youtube also can only watch at 720 but can save data.
Slow update since xiaomi will not continue Mi A3 line.
A lot of bug when update. I updated my phone to android 10 on April 2020, it was a bit disappointed. A lot of features in Android 9 dun hv. Recently i updated to android 11, now my phone is bricking 😂. Faced a lot of problem, screen freeze, cant switch between app smoothly.
Not to mention that from the first day i bought this phone, the camera is always lag. Maybe bcuz this phone use 48mp(r) 32mp(f) at sd665 chipset.

Mi A3 - Essential needs in mid-range
To own a Mi A3 is like having a Pixel experience on a budget wise phone just it lack of Gcam of course. Overall it does gave everything that you need in everyday use.
Nice punchy colored screen.
All day usage battery life.
Clean vanilla Android One UI.
Decent camera performance.
Still have headphone jack.
Bluetooth 5.0 and aptx support makes tws connection produced great music sound experience.
Decent gaming performance.
Screen resolution could get better from HD+ to FHD+ - a downgrade from previous model.
Could have more option for AOD mode.
In display finger print sensor too slow.
Quite late update since it 's an Android One.

it's a good phone for a casual user. not for gamer
What's a summary?
- Good camera for the price
- Average on game. still can run casual games smoothly
- it's using Android One. I really like it
- the phone size is small. easy to hold
- Support 18W Fast Charging
- Will be getting Android 11
- it's only support 720p, well atleast its using amoled panel
- the haptic feedback is just trash.
- monospeaker
I can't really complaint alot. i bought this phone For RM600. it has Amoled Panel. good camera, 32MP selfie camera. it can run CODM, Free Fire and Genshin Impact on 60FPS (But low graphics) . But sadly it can only run pubg on 30FPS.
and that's it. don't really recommend buying this phone as it will get outdated about a year. but if u want to make it a secondary phone than this is kinda perfect. or u can just buy the new Redmi 9T which has a better chipset
